Ford Relearn Procedure:
STANDARD KEY
FORD
TPMS Sensor Relearn
1. Set tire pressure Inflate all tires to the pressure
shown on the driver-door sticker.


2. Prepare the vehicle
Set the parking brake
Make sure the ignition is OFF
3. Start the relearn sequence
-Press and release the brake pedal
Turn the key OFF → RUN three
times, ending in RUN
(Dash lights on, engine NOT
running)
-Press and release the brake pedal
-Turn key to OFF
-Turn the key OFF → RUN three
times again, ending in RUN
4. Confirm relearn mode
The horn will beep once
The TPMS light will flash once
If equipped, the dash will say
“Train LF Tire”
This means relearn mode is active.
5. Train the tire sensors
Use a TPMS scan tool / Trigger Tool


Wait for the horn beep
Move to the next tire in this order:
Left Front (LF)
Right Front (RF)
Right Rear (RR)
Left Rear (LR)
6. Finish relearn
After the Left Rear tire:
Dash will show “Training Mode
Complete” and TPMS Light will turn off
Turn ignition OFF and no horn sound
confirms success
If the horn sounds when turning OFF,
the relearn failed and must be repeated
7. Turn ignition OFF
Relearn is complete.
