OBD2 RELEARN
With an OBD-II relearn this is done using a scan tool plugged
into the OBD port.
Step-by-step
1. Car is parked
2. E Brake has to be ON
3.Ignition ON
4.Tires inflated to the correct
pressure
5.Plug in an OBD-II scan tool
6.The port is usually under the
dashboard near the steering wheel
7.Enter TPMS relearn mode
8.On the scan tool, you select
something like:
TPMS → Relearn → Start
This tells the car to start
“listening” for sensors
Trigger each tire sensor
Front Left
Front Right
Rear Right
Rear Left
Each sensor is triggered by:
A TPMS activation tool
When a sensor is recognized, the car
usually:
Beeps
Flashes lights
Shows a message on the dash
After the last tire, the car exits
relearn mode
TPMS light should turn off after a short drive
