Schrader 20049 TPMS Service Kit
The Schrader 20049 is a TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
service kit designed for servicing compatible clamp-in TPMS valve
assemblies.
It typically includes an adjustable-angle aluminum valve stem,
retaining nut, rubber grommet, valve core, valve cap, and retaining
screw. It is used when servicing a TPMS-equipped wheel, allowing the
valve components to be replaced without replacing the electronic TPMS
sensor itself.
The retaining nut is generally torqued to 71 in-lb (8 Nm). The
service components are intended to be replaced rather than reused during
tire service.
