Description   Ateq VT5S "trigger" TPMS Sensor Activation Tool Details The VT5s “wakes up” tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors mounted to the vehicle’s wheel. How It Works: The VT5s sends a RF signal to the TPMS sensor mounted to the vehicle’s wheel to “wake up” the sensor. Once the tool triggers the sensor, the sensor is ready to communicate with the vehicle’s ECU. The VT5s is compatible with ALL trigger TPMS sensors. Instructions for use: While holding the tool over the valve stem, press the button to activate the sensor. The tool will blink during this process. Continue to hold the button down until successful signal transfer to the vehicle’s ECU, diagnostic station or until the vehicle’s horn “beeps”. AVAILABLE IN NORTH/SOUTH AMERICA ONLY VT5s FEATURES Easy to use Activates ALL trigger TPMS sensors Handheld and lightweight tool Instructions: 1. Activate the TPMS relearn feature on the vehicle 2. Starting with the LF wheel, hold the tool next to the side wall of the tire above the sensor, press and hold the button to trigger the sensor (You can also press the tool directly against the sidewall of the tire). An orange light will illuminate on the tool. Continue to hold the button down until successful signal transfer to the vehicle’s ECU, diagnostic station or until the vehicle’s horn “beeps”. 3. Repeat step #2 on the other wheels in the following order: RF, RR, LR until the vehicle’s horn “beeps”.
